Did you know that you can freeze avocados? They are so expensive during the year but are super inexpensive this time of year. Why not freeze them??Cut them in half, take out the seed, put lemon juice on them and put them in a freezer bag (try to get as much of the air out as possible). I never knew that this was even possible, but the more I read about it I was ready to try it out.
Meijer has avocados on sale this week 10 for 10 so it was a perfect opportunity. Some of the blogs that I went to while researching this did it 2 ways but I chose to do it as mentioned above. The other way was cutting them in half, taking the seed out and then mashing the avacado up and putting in the freezer bags.
