Hope you all have a Merry Christmas today. It has been a trying last couple weeks at the Dunivon household (in case you've been wondering why no post for the last few weeks). Between a back injury and hard core pain medication and muscle relaxers (had a hard time sitting in front of the computer) and my Grandma in the last stages of her life, it's been a little hectic and stressful. I'm doing better on my back, but my Grandma Judy went to see Jesus this Christmas morning. I believe this was a gift from God today. No more suffering or pain and at peace in a beautiful place. I have a lot of great childhood memories of my Grandma. She was so much like Betty White with her quick humor and one liners. For that will be one of our greatest memories of Grandma (she always knew how to make us laugh). I'm very grateful to have especially spent this last month with her. Holding her hand or combing my hands thru her hair and being able to tell her that I love her (and a few weeks ago she was able to speak and say it back). Not too many people get that chance. Please give me a present today and hug your family and tell them how much you love them. Life goes by so fast. Christmas is a special day and one that I will always remember, not just for my Grandma, but for Jesus and family and how grateful that I am to spend it with people that I love and cherish. God bless you all and Merry Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed New Year.
