I would modify it by pouring the chocolate mixture into some molds or ice cube trays and then pop it in the freezer to harden.  When it gets semi-soft/hard, put in a spoon.  Take it out of the freezer and they should pop right out.

Homemade Hand Cream:

16 oz. baby lotion
8 oz. Vaseline
8 oz. Vitamin E Cream

Mix with electric mixer until  it resembles icing.

Put in containers.

Budget Friendly Gift Giving- Homemade Vanilla Extract

I never knew that vanilla extract was made with unflavored Vodka before LOL... Go HERE for the directions from Martha Stewart. It looks very easy and I'm going to give it a try.

Vanilla extract is so expensive to buy. This would make a perfect gift!

You can get vanilla beans from Beanilla.com and the bottles come from the Specialty Bottling Co. If you want custom labels to make it look really professional, check out My Own Labels














You need to let it age at least 3-6 months (it will darken more with age)

Budget Friendly Gift Giving- Photo Tiles

I tried to link to the site that I got this from, but it kept on going to a different place, etc. UGHHHHH!

Anyway... I guess I will have to type out the directions.

Take tissue paper (like gift wrapping kind) and tape it onto paper that you can feed thru your inkjet printer. Print out your photo and carefully remove. Take Modge Podge and decoupage the tissue paper onto the tile. Dry thoroughly and take a large letter stamp and use Stazon and stamp the top.

The idea came from Stampin For Sanity-that's what it was on my favorites list (I think that she changed the name of her blog to Barefootstamper.com)

I think I'm going to have to try this one out. Enjoy!

At work today my Supervisor brought in some crafts that her Sister had made. One of the items was fabric bowls (I thought they were very unique and pretty cool). Needless to say... I bought 4 of them.

I thought that I would post a tutorial on how to make them. They look pretty easy to make. They are made with fabric, thread, and clothesline.
