Homemade Oatmeal Packets

Make your own oatmeal packets yourself and save a lot of money!  It only takes a few minutes and it's well worth the effort.

Get a big container of quick oats 40 oz. (I like Quaker Oatmeal)

a box of snack size ziplock bags

1/2 Cup (measuring cup)

Brown Sugar

Dried Fruit

Open your oatmeal container and scoop out 1/2 C. oatmeal and put in ziploc bag, add 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar.  How easy is that?  I like apples in my oatmeal so you can add dehydrated apples.

When it's time to microwave it, add 1/2-3/4 C. Water or Milk.

One container of oatmeal makes about 30 packets.
